Fiber & Mixed Media
As a fiber artist, Sandra creates one-of-a-kind art pieces implementing a variety of techniques she has learned over the years. These may include: weaving, embroidery, quilting, coiling, paper making, and other types of surface techniques. What makes her work different is the way in which she chooses to use mixed media, along with these fiber techniques.
Sandra finds people are curious by nature so she incorporates ways in which to use that curiosity to engage them in the art piece. By incorporating depth, layers, and boxes along with color, texture and pattern, she creates my fiber art.
